What garden tools are necessary to work in a garden?

How often should I water my garden?

Watering a garden is a very important consideration as one takes care of a garden. To little watering and the roots of your plants or vegetables will be shallow and weak. Too much water and the plants will not grow. Before watering, one should feel into the earth two to three inches. If your fingers are damp when you remove them, then you probably do not need to water. If they are dry, it is time to water your garden.

What does a soaker hose do?

A soaker hose is a special kind of hose that is used to water plants. The hose has the conventional shape of all hoses; however, it has minute holes punched in the fabric of the hose. The holes allow water to slowly seep out of the hose. This allows the soil to slowly absorb the water and the water will not run off.
