Acer Acontifolium (Various Sizes)

Acer Acontifolium, also known as Full Moon Maple or Downy Japanese Maple, is a large, deciduous shrub with a bushy habit. Its distinctive, rounded green leaves flaunt deeply cut lobes. The attractive foliage will go on to turn a deep, crimson red come autumn.

This Acer variety was originally popular under the name ‘Maiku Jaku’ (meaning ‘Dancing Peacock’ in Japanese), but gradually the latin name ‘Acontifolium’ has gained traction and become the more well-known way of referring to the cultivar.
