Acer Palmatum Seiryu (9cm)

Acer palmatum ‘Seiryu’ is an easy option for any garden thanks to its bright colours and interesting foliage, providing shelter with its upright growing habit and arching branches laden with small, mid-green leaves. Seiryu’s colourful foliage really shines in the autumn, with beautiful reds and oranges remaining well into the autumn and early winter. Small buds appear in the early spring which quickly flourish and bloom in small red flowers providing some nice colour moving into summer.

A hardy and tough plant, Acer ‘Seiryu’ requires little maintenance and should grow well in any well-drained soil. Keep the soil moist and plant in full or partial sun, with partial sun being preferable for the best leaf colour.
