Known commonly as Peruvian Lilies, Alstroemerias are the perfect plants to create a colourful summer border. Alstroemeria is a herbaceous perenial with dense, green foliage and from June onwards, the plant produces large, long lasting lilies. Colorita Diana yields yellow, funnel shaped flowers, which are streaked with distinctive orange stripes. The flowers can stay in full bloom from early June until first frosts, in October/November.
Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Keep in full sun or partial sun. Plant will not flower well in shade. Once the Alstromeria has been planted, it will not react well to being disturbed or moved.
