Begonia Rex Red Tango

Rex Begonias, commonly known as King Begonia, are best known for their striking foliage. This Red Tango variety will show off a gorgeous array of colour that will prove to be very intriguing on the eye. A pink shade will begin at the centre and form its way up into the upper section of each leaf. This will then be bordered by a cream shade and then finished off with a dark green bordering outline. The King Begonia’s clustered foliage will allow it to standout in any home, office or other indoor space, with the added benefits of its air-purifying qualities cleaning the air in an efficient manner. Place the plant in partial shade and avoid direct sunlight to maintain healthy leaves. Watering should be a once-a-week process for most of the year, mainly when the soil is dry to touch. This will change, however, in the plants dormant period of Winter when the levels can drop to once every two weeks.
