Begonia Rex Salsa

Rex Begonias, commonly known as King Begonia, are best known for their striking foliage. This Salsa variety is one that shows off a beautiful array of colours, including pink, light green and dark green, all showing themselves in a seaped out foliage design to catch the eye of people passing by or visiting the home. The clustered foliage of the King Begonia will ensure that any home, office or other indoor space benefits from the plant, with the use of its air-purifying qualities helping this as well. Partial shade is best for situating the plant in, with direct sunlight not being appreciated by Rex Begonias due to potential leaf damage. Watering should be carried out when the soil is dry to touch, making once a week a suitable amount throughout the year. When Winter comes around however, you should lower this to once every two weeks as this is the plants dormant period.
