Betula Pendula Golden Obelisk Tree

Betula pendula Golden Obelisk is a deciduous tree that brings vibrancy into your garden with its bright foliage. The silver-white, exfoliating bark makes the tree stand out even more due to the elegant shade that fills its stem. Yellow-brown flowerheads appear in early Spring, with golden-yellow foliage following that, staying all the way through to Autumn. The birch bark of this variety will provide year-round interest.

More commonly known as Silver Birch, this variety prefers to be grown in fertile, moist and well-drained soil, meaning regular watering is necessary for adequate progression. It can be grown in full sunlight or partial shade. The ultimate height and spread of this Betula is 6m in height and 3m in spread, over the course of 20 years.
