Betula utilis jacquemontii Trinity College is a deciduous tree forms its classy foliage on white, exfoliating bark. The leaves first appear in Spring, remaining on the tree all the way through to Autumn. The eye-catching birch bark provides year-round interest and develops the white colour from a young age. That allows this Betula variety to impact your garden early on and it is ideal for small gardens and borders.
More commonly known as Himalayan Birch, this variety prefers to be grown in fertile, moist and well-drained soil, meaning regular watering is necessary for adequate progression. It can be grown in full sunlight or partial shade. The ultimate height and spread of this Betula is 5m in height and 3m in spread, over the course of 20 years.
