Characteristics: Hardy shrub. Bears firm, glossy fruits when they fruit on thornless canes. They will crop heavily, quick to establish and are easy to grow.
Growth and Spread: Ultimate height of 2m and ultimate spread of 2.5m.
Period of Interest: Flowers from May – July and fruits will be ready to harvest in August and September.
Water and Maintenance: Place the plant in bright, indirect sunlight. Moist, well-drained soil is preferred and water is required when the soil is dry to touch.

Our Rubus fruticosus Loch Ness is a hardy shrub. This variety has thornless canes and will produce firm, glossy Blackberries. The plant will flower from May – July, then fruit will be ready to harvest in August and September, alongside lovely, dark green leaves. The foliage is a great contrast against the flowers, whilst the tasty, edible fruit can easily be included in a variety of meals or eaten individually.

They will grow to an ultimate height of 2m and ultimate spread of 2.5m. In terms of plant care, it should be placed in bright, indirect sunlight and planted in moist, well-drained soil. Watering becomes essential when the soil is dry to touch.
