Calathea Crocata Tassmania

The Calathea Crocata is a heat loving attractive tropical indoor houseplant. This variety sports metallic green foliage with purple hues and brown undersides, the stems that tower above the bush bloom to reveal yellow and orange flowers resembling a flame, hence it’s name ‘Eternal Flame’, these flowers last roughly 2-3 months and add a colourful and exotic feel to your home. They will also let you know when it’s time for bed, as the leaves of this plant curl up at night before unfurling at the start of a new day. These plants hate direct sunlight so it’s best to place in partially lit locations with some humidity.
