Clematis Ashva

This hardy perennial is easy to care for and creates an eye-catching display throughout summer and early autumn. Its climbing nature makes Clematis Ashva ideal for growing up trellises or obelisks. It can also be used to add colour to a wall or fence and does well in pots or containers.

The foliage is lush and compact with vibrant oval green leaves. Ruffled violet-purple flowers bloom from June to September with distinctive red bars along the length of each petal.

With the exception of regular watering, Clematis Ashva are low maintenance garden plants that are easy to care for.  The do get thirsty so it’s important to keep them hydrated, particularly when planted in pots or containers.
