Clematis Jackmanii

Clematis Jackmanii is a deciduous, climbing vine plant that has gorgeous, deep purple flowers. The large-flowering aspect of the plant allows the blooms to contrast well against the green foliage and the cream coloured, spike-like feature in the centre of each flower. They will bloom in Spring and last until late Summer, becoming an attractive part of the garden when climbing up walls, fences and more, especially when trained to do so. It should be planted in moist, well drained soil, with watering being less of an issue due to the low maintenance nature of this Clematis. Finally, placing the plant in full sunlight will ensure the blooms retain their great colour in their growing season.
