Laurus nobilis, commonly known as Bay Laurel, is a popular, evergreen shrub. The foliage can be neatly clipped to maintain a lovely shape to include within any plant displays or flower arrangements. Each leaf is well structured and provides dark green colour all-year-round. They can also be used in cooking to add a wonderful burst of flavour to meals such as soups, stews and more. Clusters of yellow flowers will also feature, being both eye-catching and attractive to bees.
This Laurus shrub will survive when placed in an area of full sun or partial shade. The soil should always be fertile, moist and well-drained. Watering it regularly is required in warmer periods of the year, ensuring that the soil never dries out.
