Lavandula stoechas is an RHS ‘Award of Garden Merit’ winning shrub that brings year-round interest to your garden. This evergreen variety shows off its gorgeous purple flowers from Spring through to Summer, alongside fragrant, bright green foliage. Each flowerhead sits at the peak of upright stems, with 4 sterile bracts topping off this stunning, must-have plant. It will look great in pots, containers, borders and more, whilst also being a magnet for bees and butterflies.
The French Lavender plant is typically low maintenance. You should place it in an area of full sunlight, whilst making sure its soil is chalk, sand or loam-based. Allow soil to dry out between waterings. You should also look to cut the plant back after its peak bloom period to stimulate shorter and sturdier stems.
