Ever popular with gardeners, Magnolia is a classic shrub that provides vibrant colour in spring and summer. Ornate flowers blossom early in the season and are complemented by glossy green foliage. Magnolias in full bloom are an eye-catching focal point and will be an ideal feature plant for your garden.

Magnolia shrubs are relatively slow growing and can take around 10-20 years to reach full maturity. They are easy to grow, requiring very little maintenance once established. Interestingly, Magnolia is a prehistoric plant and has been around since the time of the dinosaurs. As bees didn’t exist back then, Magnolias were pollinated by a range of insects, including beetles. The bright fragrant flowers will attract bees, birds, butterflies and other pollinators to your garden.

Our Magnolia Collection includes a growers selection from common varieties such as Rosea, Stellata, Susan and Soulangeana or more unusual types like Betty, Fairy Cream, Galaxy, Nigra and more. Included are differing flower colours and types, from pink, purple, bicolour, white and cream shades forming traditional tulip-shaped flowers or more exotic star-shaped oriental bursts.
