Malus βJelly Kingβ is a compact and highly productive variety of Crab Apple with masses of attractive orange-pink apples that can produce an equally attractive jam. Clusters of small, pure white flowers appear in Spring alongside the bright green foliage and last right through the Summer months until Autumn, where large masses of the small crab apples weigh down the branches right into the Winter months, lasting longer than many other types of Crab Apple.
Plant in moist, well-drained soil and keep in full sun. Drought tolerant once established. Self-fertile, requiring no other trees nearby to produce fruit though cross pollination yields the best results. Ideal for limited space conditions due to its more compact nature.
