SEASONAL AVAILABILITY – Bare Root plants are supplied from late November until Spring the following year.
CHARACTERISTICS – Sorbus aucuparia is known for it’s beautiful white flowers in Summer along with its deep green foliage. In Autumn its deep green leaves change to a bright red colour and the white flowers fall and produce an abundance of red berries.
HEIGHT AND SPREAD – Supplied in their dormant state, Mountain Ash Rowan grows at 1-2ft per year and can reach up to 15m+ at full maturity.
PLANTING TIPS – Bare-Root hedging is typically planted in a double staggered row of 5 plants per metre. Evergreen plants are generally planted to less density than deciduous plants, such is the nature of their dense foliage.
