Nordmann Fir Bare Root Hedge (1ft – 2ft)

SEASONAL AVAILABILITY: Bare Root plants are supplied from late November until Spring the following year.

CHARACTERISTICS: Abies Nordmanniana, commonly known as Nordmann Fir, are evergreen trees which are particularly popular as Christmas trees. These outdoor plants have aromatic, deep green, needle-like foliage which remains all year long.

HEIGHT AND SPREAD: Supplied in a dormant state, these outdoor shrubs can eventually reach an approximate height of up to 45 metres and an ultimate spread of 8 metres, although they can be easily pruned to remain at hedge size without losing a lot of foliage.

PLANTING TIPS: Bare-Root hedging is typically planted in a double staggered row of 5 plants per metre. Evergreen plants are generally planted to less density than deciduous plants, such is the nature of their dense foliage.
