Characteristics: Hardy Redcurrant fruit plant. Produces a heavy crop of sweet, bright red fruits in Summer, is one of the earliest varieties to ripen and is shade tolerant.
Growth and Spread: Ultimate height of 1m and ultimate spread of 0.75m.
Period of Interest: Fruits will be ready to harvest in mid-Summer – June and July.

Our Ribes rubrum Jonkheer Van Tets is a hardy fruit plant that produces a heavy crop of tasty Redcurrants. These begin to harvest in Summer – mostly between June and July – making this one of the earliest varieties to ripen. Planting the plants in late Spring will give them plenty of time to adjust to the conditions, so they are ready for picking and including in puddings, pies, jellies, wines and more.
