Characteristics: Herbaceous perennial plant. Bright red stems of Rhubarb form on this plant early in the year around Spring. Large, bright green leaves form in Summer, joined by cream flowers that bloom in Summer.
Growth and Spread: Ultimate height of 0.6m and ultimate spread of 1.2m.
Period of Interest: Stems of Rhubarb form in early Spring, green foliage from Spring into Summer and cream flowers from Summer into Autumn.
Water and Maintenance: Place the plant in bright, indirect sunlight. Moist, well-drained soil is preferred and water is required when the soil is dry to touch.

Our Rheum rhabarbarum Champagne is a herbaceous perennial plant. Bright red stems of Rhubarb will form earlier in the year with this variety, beginning to grow from early Spring onwards.
