Characteristics: Clump-forming perennial. Green leaves remain from Spring through to Autumn. Upright stems of Rhubarb will harvest in the same period although, if left unharvested, will produce yellow flowers off of each stem. Standard cream flowers will then bloom regardless from Summer into Autumn.
Growth and Spread: Ultimate height of 1.5m and ultimate spread of 1.2m.
Period of Interest: Stems of Rhubarb and bright green foliage grow from Spring – Autumn. Cream flowers then appear from Summer into Autumn.
Water and Maintenance: Place the plant in bright, indirect sunlight. Moist, well-drained soil is preferred and water is required when the soil is dry to touch.

Our Rheum rhabarbarum Stockbridge Arrow is a clump-forming perennial plant. The upright stems of this variety will produce tasty Rhubarb from Spring through to Autumn although, if left unharvested, yellow flowers will bloom on each stem. Green, wrinkled foliage features from Spring through to Autumn, with cream flowers forming as Autumn approaches. Once fully grown, you can include Rhubarb’s sweet flavour in sauces, jams, pies and more.
