An evergreen climber native to western Australia known as more commonly as the ‘Bluebell Creeper’. An interesting plant which is considered half-hardy in most of the UK with long twining stems carrying narrow, lance-shaped, dark green leaves which act as a great contrasting backdrop to the pendant, sky blue flowers which appear throughout the foliage from Summer, followed by small, blue berries that last into the Autumn. A great option for conservatory and greenhouse growing or for use on pergolas and trellises.
Plant in moderately moist, well-drained soil and keep in full or partial sun. Hardy in mild areas but susceptible to cold and frost so should be provided with adequate shelter and protection. It is recommended to grow indoors under glass in colder regions. Water sparingly in Winter and avoid waterlogged locations.
